Around the World Series #38 "SCOTCH"
Made in Japan bisque doll with blonde wool wig. Movable arms and jointed legs. Molded socks and high-top white painted boots. Molded bangs under her wool wig. Pudgy tummy. She wears white muslin panties. Red, green, white and black kilt and scarf tartan. Has rabbit fur sporran. Black felt hat. Has Nancy Ann Dressed Doll sticker. Has a chip of paint missing from her forehead.

Page 51 of the Encyclopedia of Bisque Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls : 1936-1947 by Elaine Pardee and Jackie Robertson has example's of the Scotch doll. Variations on the tartan, jacket and hat.
