Dolls of the Month Series #197 "A NOVEMBER LASS TO CHEER"
Bisque doll with brown mohair wig. Movable arms and frozen legs. White cotton pantalets. White cotton underskirt is attached to yellow flower print overskirt. Overskirt trimmed with brown ruching. Brown taffeta bodice. Doll comes with original Nancy Ann Storybook Doll stand. Has September identifying wrist tag attached to the underskirt. No box.

Page 283 of the of the Encyclopedia of Bisque Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls : 1936-1947 by Elaine Pardee and Jackie Robertson states: #197 A November Lass to Cheer, frozen leg. Green or peach bodice and ruched trim. $65.00. NOTE: Clearly, this is not peach or green taffeta material and ruched trim. NASB Dolls had been known to use similar material to produce certain dolls when they ran out of the actual material the doll is know to be dressed in.
