3rd doll down on the list.
Page 291 of the Encyclopedia of Bisque Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls : 1936-1947 by Elaine Pardee and Jackie Robertson states: #253 Charmaine. JT. $135.00.
Note: This doll was purchased from an ebay auction. She was advertised as "Mint in Box with wrist tag" "Mint/No Flaws". However, when I received her, she clearly had a large chip out of the top of her right leg. She is still a beautiful doll and I will keep her, but she is clearly not "Mint" condition.
